Questions for Thought

What does yoga mean to you?

Yoga is home.

How does yoga changed your life?

Yoga changed my thought patterns, and allowed me to experience a quiet mind for the first time in my life. It made me more flexible, balanced, and strong, both physically and mentally. It opened my eyes, mind and heart to see and feel more of the world around me and within me.

How do you personally find balance in your daily life?

Asana, meditation, chanting, and laughter. If I miss this things even just one day, my balance is off.

What is you mission in Life?

Have fun, give everything I can to others, and devote everything to God.

What are you doing to manifest your mission?
Self practice – asanas, meditation, chanting, studying scripture, learning harmonium, practicing sanskrit. All these things are changing me from deep within to prepare me for what’s ahead. My mission is to bring about health and happiness to all through the traditional teachings of Yoga. I recently launched my website, katieloveyoga.com, to create a platform to share these teachings via my blog, as well as share my new oil blends!

Have you done any Karma Yoga in the past year? If so, please explain.
I do small acts of Karma Yoga each day, mostly unknowingly. Whenever my heart gives with selfless love, whether it’s a smile or advice or holding the door open, I am doing Karma Yoga. Selfless acts of service for the greater good of the whole.
