Juliano Echeverri

Juliano Echeverri

FOUNDER OF FUNKY YOGA / CHARITY AMBASSADOR

Juliano discovered yoga at the end of the year 2001, when he came by accident inside a near-by studio looking for a friend . He did not find his friend but instead he found the typical peace, harmony and sense of sacredness that old fashion yoga studios (shalas) have. After that visit he came back for a donation based community yoga class and fell in love with yoga. During the last decade Juliano became him self a yogaholic, thus coining this term circa 2007. He had the chance to practice almost every kind of yoga available in the USA and also studied to be a Yoga Teacher of a new modality called “Skanda Yoga”. Just before the end of the year 2009 he felt the need to express his passion for yoga and the holistic field by starting his yoga inspired t-shirt line called “Funky Yoga”. Since then hundreds of people, studios and spas have enjoyed this fun line of garment

Anya Guti

YOGA TEACHER / FYA MARKETING DIRECTOR / KIRTAN ENTHUSIAST/

Since early years my life was marked by intense search for spiritual connection. During my childhood and young adult years I had many mystical and transformational experiences , but nothing could compare to what I discovered later in life – YOGA. Yoga is the science, the technique, the magic and the blissful way that connects us to our higher self and to the Universal Soul a.k.a God. Yoga is the means and the expression of higher awareness and bliss. It is both the practice and the spontaneous taste of higher knowledge through the experience and not merely through belief. Reducing personal whims, conflicts, disharmony, which imprison and limit awareness, yoga makes the mind a perfect reflector of experience and then under this circumstances one can awaken his full potential, elevate consciousness and experience true well being. In my yoga class the primary focus is on developing of the inner awareness and on mastering mind and body. Just as Asanas are used to balance, harmonize, strengthen and purify the body; mantras, music and meditation are used to balance, harmonized, strengthen and purify the mind. And that is the reason, why in my yoga classes, as well as in my personal yoga practice, music , mantras and meditation play a very important role. In addition to my Hatha Yoga practice I am a fearless, compassionate and dedicated Karma Yogini. I believe that true happiness can only be achieved through making others happy. Funky Yoga Ambassador program is my dream come true work where I can help others create happiness and abundance for themselves and others in need around the world.
